This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the North Rhine-Westphalia Minister for Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport, Oliver Krischer. He took the opportunity to learn about our development over the past ten years and to witness our innovative progress in climate protection and resource efficiency. During a tour of our production facilities, we were able to present our technology and its advantages to him.
A Decade of Progress with KUER.NRW
The visit took place as part of our 10th anniversary celebration, coinciding with the KUER.NRW business plan competition. This competition, supported by the NRW Ministry of the Environment as part of the environmental economy strategy, assists start-ups in the fields of climate, environment, energy efficiency, and resource conservation.
“The support from KUER was very helpful for us at the beginning,”emphasizes Dr. Alexander Müller, a member of the management board.“Expert discussions, coaching and access to relevant networks helped us successfully establish our business model.” What started in 2014 with two people has grown into a company with 50 employees and ongoing production.
Innovative Insulation Material Insute 25-pro Opens New Possibilities
At the heart of our success story lies the development of a globally unique technology that resulted in the creation of the high-performance insulation material Insute. This material offers significantly higher insulation performance than conventional products. This is made possible by the very fine pores of the material, which have a diameter in the nanometer range, greatly reducing thermal conductivity.
Based on this technology, we established the high-performance Insute 25-pro blow-in insulation material on the German market this year, which is primarily used for core insulation in old buildings with double-shell masonry. This insulation material makes it possible for the first time to efficiently insulate facades with gap widths of less than 3 cm. It is also suitable for larger cavities. Thanks to the very high insulation performance, energy standards can be achieved without the need for additional structural insulation measures. Furthermore, the material provides excellent sound insulation. Thanks to its water-repellent and open-pored structure, effective moisture regulation is guaranteed.
Sustainability at the Core of Our Work
We attach great importance to environmental friendliness and energy efficiency right from the production stage. During the visit, Minister Krischer was able to observe our sustainable production processes firsthand. The entire manufacturing process is conducted in a closed loop for the propellant, and the insulation material can be easily reused – providing a clear ecological and economic advantage. These factors contribute to a low CO₂ footprint for the products and enable significant energy savings not only in production but also in application.
